Travelers from Los Angeles and San Francisco can get to Cape Town for as little as $1,225.00 per person + tax via London on United Airlines connecting to South African Airways.
Effective September 26th, 2008, west coast passengers can board a United Airlines flight from their choice of Los Angeles International or San Francisco International bound for London. There, they connect to the services of South African Airways bound for Johannesburg. Additionally, passengers can continue their flight onward to the Mother City of Cape Town for no extra charge.
As an added benefit, the airlines are permitting a free stopover in London and Johannesburg in each direction (passengers only pay the applicable taxes) which enables passengers to create an exciting combination of three incredible cities!
The seasons and fares are as follows:
LOW SEASON – starting from $1,225.00 per person + applicable taxes
October 05th – December 06th
January 07th – March 31st
SHOULDER SEASON – starting from $1,500.00 per person + applicable taxes
April 01st – May 31st
August 20th – October 04th
December 24th – January 06th
HIGH SEASON – starting from $1,875.00 per person + applicable taxes
June 01st – August 19th
December 07th – December 23rd
From Johannesburg, highly subsidized fares are available to many regional destinations in Africa and the Indian Ocean INCLUDING MADAGASCAR for only $250.00 per person + taxes each way and MAURITIUS for only $290.00 per person + taxes each way!
Taxes will be calculated at the time of reservation
Tickets must be issued within 7-days of reservation
