Un-Beatable Botswana - Only $399 p/n

Travelers-in-the-know know that $399 per person per night in the Okavango Delta is unbeatable value. Particularly since the price includes accommodation at your choice of 8 luxury safari camps, all meals, schedules game safari activities, local brand cocktail beverages, laundry, and national park entrance fees where applicable. That is why 2AFRIKA has introduced ‘Un-Beatable Botswana’ at only $399 per person per night all inclusive.

The unbeatable price is good from December 01 2012 through March 31, 2013 or while space lasts. Holiday surcharges apply from December 20 – January 04.

‘Un-Beatable Botswana’ originates every day of the week from Maun, Livingstone, or Kasane Airports and 2AFRIKA recommends a stay of at least 4-nights ($399 X 4 = $1,596). 6-Nights are suggested to enhance your overall Botswana Okavango Delta / Kalahari Desert Experience. There is no single supplement applicable for travelers traveling on their own but wanting their own private accommodation.

Guests select from their choice of Xakanaxa Camp (Moremi Game Reserve), Kwara Camp (Okavango Delta), Kwando Lebala Camp or Kwando Lagoon Camp (Linyati area), Nxai Pan (Nxai Pan National Park), Tau Pan (Central Kalahari Reserve), Ntwala Island Lodge (Chobe area), and Stanley Safari Lodge at the Victoria Falls. The requested accommodation is confirmed at the time of booking.

Flights are excluded (international and inter-camp) and 2AFRIKA can assist. ‘Un-Beatable Botswana’ is an instant purchase safari simply due to space availability. The lodges and safari camps are intimate, some of them only have space for 16 guests and so reserving well in advance is of importance to ensure your selection of accommodation and to avoid disappointment.

With the ‘Un-Beatable Botswana’ prices, you can spend 4 nights in Botswana for only $1,596 per person. Such value is hard to beat – for more details, Contact Us.

YOTEL brings affordable luxury to New York

MONDAY, MARCH 01, 2010
NEW YORK. NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GERARD GREENE - CEO OF YOTEL reported this morning

We wanted you to be one of the first to know that we are announcing today that we will open for business in the 'Big Apple' in the Spring of next year. This will be the first YOTEL opening outside of our current international airport locations and make it the largest hotel opening in New York in 2011.

YOTEL Times Square, located at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue, will be part of Related Company's 1.2 million square foot, 60 storey LEED-Silver complex which will include residential units and the Frank Gehry designed Signature Theatre.

The flagship YOTEL property is being co-designed by The Rockwell Group and Softroom and will feature an exciting Club Lounge and the largest outside terrace space of any hotel in New York.

Achingly cool and chillingly efficient YOTEL will offer customers a perfectly designed 16sqm (170sqft) of private space in which to relax, refresh, connect and sleep, a true haven of calm. Luxury bedding, rejuvenating monsoon rain showers, relaxing purple mood lighting and YOTEL's 'techno wall' with flat screen TV, and complimentary WiFi will soon be on offer to those visiting New York. Never again will travellers have to be subject to expensive and boring hotels.

We have established ourselves in the hearts of international travellers and the media alike. Thanks to your support we have collected industry awards and rave Trip Advisor ratings. Last year, YOTEL won the prestigious Business Accommodation of the Year at the Business Travel World Awards.

To those of you that have stayed thank you; and to those of you that haven't why not; you're missing out!

I hope with the first of many city centre hotels to come that we will see you soon.

SABI SABI WELCOMES FOUR NEW TRAINEE GUIDES

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2010
NEW YORK, NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Over the past 30 years, Sabi Sabi has become recognized as a leader in the field of ranger/guide training, with aspiring game rangers clamoring for a chance to take part in the demanding courses. The selection process is intensive for those hoping to qualify and ultimately become one of the reserve’s renowned guides.

The first step is the initial interview, where potential candidates are rigorously assessed by the senior safari managers. Sabi Sabi is known the world over for the exceptional caliber of its safari team, and only the very best make it past this first interview. Besides testing their safari knowledge, the managers make sure that the would-be guides are empathic, perceptive, and insightful, and carry that special brand of warmth that is synonymous with everyone who calls Sabi Sabi home.Once past this first step, the top six to eight candidates are invited to join the highly intensive course which takes place at Nkombe Camp, a tented facility situated in a remote section of the Sabi Sabi bushveld. The curriculum is comprehensive. Conservation and the principles of ecology, wild animal behavior and safety procedures in a Big 5 environment, bird identification, the identification and uses of the indigenous plants and trees, and of course, conducting day, night and walking safaris, all form part of the training course. Trainees are also taught the etiquette of interacting with guests from many different cultures around the world. By the time they graduate as qualified rangers, they will have become environmental educators, spreading the message of conservation nationally and internationally.

On the last day of the course, final interviews are conducted, and a select panel of senior managers and staff decides who will fit the profile of a Sabi Sabi field guide.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2010
NEW YORK, NY

To ensure that you have a pleasant and uninterrupted travel experience on South African Airways, we wanted to remind you of the special passport and visa requirements for persons entering South Africa. All non-South African passport holders are required to have at least one, entirely blank (unstamped) visa page in their passport, each time entry is sought into South Africa. These pages are in addition to the Endorsement/Amendment pages that are found at the back of the passport. South African government regulations prohibit airlines from boarding passengers without the required blank visa page. South African Airways is required to enforce these visa requirements and unfortunately, customers not processing the proper documentation will be denied boarding at point of origin.
