2AFRIKA’S KENYA CLASSIC SAFARI AS REPORTED BY ARTHUR FROMMER

THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 2010
NEW YORK, NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

In an article reported by Arthur Frommer in the San Francisco Chronicle recently, he made mention of an all-inclusive Safari to Kenya for $2,849 per person.

We have had many callers communicate with us with regards to this Safari which does NOT appear on our website appropriately. This BLOG is intended to clarify the details of the report in the hope that it will clear the unnecessary confusion.

The Safari DOES exist – it is named KENYA CLASSIC and is found on 2AFRIKA’s home page or in the Kenya Portfolio. When you review the itinerary, you will see that it is a 7-Day Safari originating and terminating in Nairobi. The routing takes in Nairobi, the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Amboseli National Park. It is priced at $1,399 + tax of $195 per person for all departures throughout April and May of 2010. Additionally, there is no ‘single supplement’ applicable which is very advantageous to single travelers.

The reported price is perfectly accurate at $2,849 per person, the difference being made up of the airfare to and from Nairobi. This fare is good for departures from San Francisco or Los Angeles via London with continuation service to Nairobi.

With the airlines fluctuating their prices and taxes so frequently nowadays, we have chosen to eliminate the ‘air portion’ from our website simply because keeping updated is very labor intensive, and unending!

We do hope that this clarifies the accuracy of the report and we apologize for any inconvenience which may have been caused – but it is accurate as reported and will remain so as long as space is available.

EAST AFRICAN SAFARI PRICES DROP BY ALMOST 30% - 2AFRIKA, INC. announces unique travel savings with its Fall East African Safari promotion

NEW YORK, October 05, 20092AFRIKA, INC. (http://www.2afrika.com) and its preferred airline partners Virgin Atlantic Airways, United Airlines, Continental Airlines, Kenya Airways, South African Airways and Turkish Airlines have combined forces and launched a unique Fall East African Safari promotion.

African safaris have a reputation for delivering exotic, exclusive experiences. Yet these spectacular adventures often come with high price tags, and travelers typically don’t know how to save money when venturing into the unknown territory of Safari planning for Africa.

That has changed, thanks to 2AFRIKA, INC. (http://www.2afrika.com), an established 15-year-old African Safari Tour Operator based in New York City that specializes in “Keeping Africa Affordable” and its preferred airline partners. 2AFRIKA has just announced its Fall East African Safari promotion, offering 21 safaris to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda with discounts up to 30% (during some seasons). With these special Fall prices, it’s now possible to Safari within this giant Continent and experience firsthand its wild, rugged untamed beauty at a budget price.

“I’m thrilled about this Fall East African Safari promotion, which will motivate travelers to follow their dreams and make the commitment to visit my magnificent Continent,” says Kenneth R. Hieber, Founder & President of 2AFRIKA, INC. “I have spent a lot of time negotiating the 2010 Safari prices to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda, and this is one travel deal travelers cannot afford to miss, particularly when you consider that African Safari prices increase by at least 7.5 - 10 percent every year. Analysts are already predicting increases in travel and we’re seeing that starting to come into effect. Yet 2AFRIKA, INC. has worked hard to create this Fall East African Safari promotion and keep 2010 safari lower for a limited time only.”

2AFRIKA’s Fall East African Safari promotion prices run October 8 through November 6, 2009, and are available for any of the 2010 Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda Safaris showcased exclusively through 2AFRIKA’s website: http://www.2afrika.com. These package deals are for travel during anytime in 2010, and must be reserved, confirmed and paid for within these select dates. Ideal for anyone looking to cash in on a unique, yet affordable adventure to Africa — these Safaris provide the ultimate chance for great savings.

“We all like to save money and I expect this promotion to be as big as those that we have previously launched,” Hieber says. “Considering what you’re getting for the price this is a very valuable opportunity in terms of just how affordable these priceless experiences actually are.”
