FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
IMMEDIATE AND IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING VISAS FOR ZIMBABWE
PLEASE NOTE – Historically, any passenger visiting Zimbabwe who may have left the country (E.G. a day-visit to nearby Chobe National Park or a day-visit to the Zambia side of the Victoria Falls) but intended retuning to Zimbabwe to overnight was not requested to reapply for an additional visa upon return.
However, with immediate effect, Zimbabwe will be charging for re-entry visas for passengers who have left the country on a day trip. This information received today (Monday October 18, 2009) seems to have been in place for a few days already – it is not unusual for us to receive such information after implementation. We do however draw such issues to our passengers’ attention immediately upon receipt thereof.
Our on-site representatives have informed us that any passengers leaving Zimbabwe on a day trip MUST purchase a multiple entry visa for Zimbabwe.
The same rule applies in the opposite direction and has a bearing on our Botswana Safaris. If you arrive into the Victoria Falls International Airport, you will need to purchase a visa to enter Zimbabwe merely to take an overland transfer to Botswana.
PULA, our popular Botswana Safari includes a day trip to the Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe . . . which means that you have to purchase a multiple entry for Zimbabwe. Additionally, if your departure back to the United States commences from the Victoria Falls International Airport, you will require yet another visa to enter the country, simply to depart.
The cost of the visa differs by nationality and is subject to change without notice. It appears at this time via our sources that a single entry visa will cost $60.00 whilst a multiple entry visa will cost $95.00 but frankly, that will depend on the mood of the Immigration Official on duty at the time of your application.
PATHETIC ISN’T IT?
Just another reason to avoid Zimbabwe . . . what a shame . . . for it is a beautiful country . . . but 2AFRIKA, INC. cannot constantly be in the middle of visa costs . . . particularly since we do not make the rules nor charge the visa costs on behalf of the Zimbabwean Government!

IN THEIR OWN WORDS – Just back from South Africa, Zimbabwe & Botswana – a report back from 2AFRIKA’s valued passengers
THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2009
NEW YORK, NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Good Morning!
I just wanted to say thank you for this wonderful trip. Linda and I had a great time on kr² AT ONE WITH THE ANIMAL KINGDOM. She had a good taste of "Africa" (we saw lots of animals on safari) and I saw "new" things. (I had been to Tanzania); the scenery was beautiful, the people lovely, the animals were everywhere and the hotels and food were amazing. We were also introduced to Amarula! YUM.
Aside from one driver who dropped us at the wrong hotel in Sandton, we had no problems.
Thanks again! Viva 2AFRIKA!

Kenneth
I just want to thank you for arranging such a wonderful part of my recent trip to Southern Africa
The AT ONE WITH THE ANIMAL KINGDOM Safari was outstanding, and everything worked like clockwork. The safaris were excellent and the operators and accommodations were as well. With the other parts of my trip, including my week at the Kruger National Park with friends, the trips to Mozambique, Swaziland, Cape Town, Stellenbosch and the Garden Route, I can safely say that it was an adventure of a lifetime. I loved every minute of it
Thanks again for your help in making it such a fantastic experience
