WANT TO SAVE ON SAFARI? ACT NOW!
Entrepreneur magazine has reported, "Travel and Tourism are back, and, by the end of 2011, will be better than ever."
Indeed it is!
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) estimates jet fuel prices are up 39% from a year ago and 'travel analysts' say that independent travelers will likely bear the brunt of the fare hikes unless they act now.
Committed to Keeping Africa Affordable, 2AFRIKA recommends that its passengers make their safari reservations as far in advance as possible to avoid predicted price increases!

2AFRIKA’S KENYA CLASSIC SAFARI AS REPORTED BY ARTHUR FROMMER
NEW YORK, NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In an article reported by Arthur Frommer in the San Francisco Chronicle recently, he made mention of an all-inclusive Safari to Kenya for $2,849 per person.
We have had many callers communicate with us with regards to this Safari which does NOT appear on our website appropriately. This BLOG is intended to clarify the details of the report in the hope that it will clear the unnecessary confusion.
The Safari DOES exist – it is named KENYA CLASSIC and is found on 2AFRIKA’s home page or in the Kenya Portfolio. When you review the itinerary, you will see that it is a 7-Day Safari originating and terminating in Nairobi. The routing takes in Nairobi, the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Amboseli National Park. It is priced at $1,399 + tax of $195 per person for all departures throughout April and May of 2010. Additionally, there is no ‘single supplement’ applicable which is very advantageous to single travelers.
The reported price is perfectly accurate at $2,849 per person, the difference being made up of the airfare to and from Nairobi. This fare is good for departures from San Francisco or Los Angeles via London with continuation service to Nairobi.
With the airlines fluctuating their prices and taxes so frequently nowadays, we have chosen to eliminate the ‘air portion’ from our website simply because keeping updated is very labor intensive, and unending!
We do hope that this clarifies the accuracy of the report and we apologize for any inconvenience which may have been caused – but it is accurate as reported and will remain so as long as space is available.

AIRLINE PRICES SET TO ‘SOAR’ – SO BUY AND PAY NOW!

NEW YORK, NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In an article published in the ASTA SmartBrief entitled AIRLINES WELCOME RETURN OF THEIR PRICING POWER today, it is abundantly clear that airline prices are set to ‘soar’.
During the past couple of months, airlines have gained back some of the pricing power they lost during the economic downturn. Travel-management companies are predicting that airfares will continue to inch up next year. "There's no doubt that prices are firming," said Rick Seaney, CEO of FareCompare. Seaney explains that domestic and international airfares rapidly declined from November through May. In June, the first domestic airfare increase took place. "For some context, there were 15 hikes in 2008 and 17 hikes in 2007," Seaney said. "We had a very steep bottom at the end of May and sort of a firming over the three or four months."
The forerunner of 'Keeping Africa Affordable', 2AFRIKA, INC. has seen an upswing in prices, which seems to be the new trend. What the airlines will NOT tell you is that if you reserve and pay for your airline ticket NOW for travel in the future, once you have locked in the price and have had the ticket issued, there will be no further charges applied at all.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KENYA
TANZANIA
Just a quick note to tell you we had a fantastic time on our EAST AFRICAN EXPLORER.
Everything went without a glitch, and all of the lodges were wonderful, as was the service and food at every one. Our guide Moudy on safaris was a kind, quiet and knowledgeable man with a great sense of humor We saw hundreds of animals, including the 'Big Five'.
Our safari mates were a blast! When I found out they were cops, I thought they'd be a bit stodgy, but they were great fun, loved their cocktails (as we all do), and we'll probably keep in touch with them.
Anyway, thanks so much for all of your good work, and when I get a chance, I'm going to post a nice review for 2AFRIKA on Trip Advisor (when I do, I'll send you the link).
Yours sincerely, Scott, Anthony and Katie – Providence RI
