NEW YORK, NY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Recently, two 2AFRIKA passengers rounded off their East African Explorer safari with a visit to Kogelo where we had arranged a meeting with Sarah Obama, Barack Obama's Kenyan, paternal grandmother. Mrs. Obama visited Washington DC for her grandson's inauguration on January 20, 2009!
In their own words . . .
“We could not believe we had the opportunity to meet Mama Sarah. The guide did not mention it until we arrived in Kogelo and were greeted by two of the president's first cousins. Did Martin tell you what Mama Sarah said to me? I told her "Your grandson is a great man and he is changing the world.” She said "You gave him a mandate. He has to.” That gave me the shivers. It suddenly hit me with new force what an awesome responsibility President Obama has taken on.”
2AFRIKA, INC. remains committed to 'Keeping Africa Affordable', 'Corporate Social Responsibility in Tourism' but most importantly, the comfort, security and safety of its valued passengers!
