IN THEIR OWN WORDS - KENYA!

Dear Ken,

Our 2AFRIKA Safari to AFRICA was the BEST trip we have ever taken, and we have traveled all over.

We got more than we ever expected!

Kenya was GORGEOUS! Our trip started in Nairobi and we traveled north…..what beautiful scenery. The Aberdare National Park was breath taking. The people and the landscape were superb. We then headed to Lake Nakuru where we saw flamingos, lions, leopard, baboons and birds of many species. The trip was fun and exciting and every where we went the locals were nicer than the previous stop. Everyone was so interested in the United States and everyone spoke English. We did learn some important and fun Swahili terms and even some Ma, after visiting the Maasai Tribe, in the Maasai Mara National Park.

When we stayed in the tents at the Sarova Mara Tented Safari Lodge in the Maasai Mara National Park, it was the neatest experience ever! It was upscale camping right along with nature! The accommodations were top notch and the food was delicious. The fresh grown local vegetables were a treat.

We can’t say enough about the wildlife.

We got to experience the ‘BIG 5’ and more. The safari takes you close enough to the animals you could almost reach out and touch them, if you dare. Our local English-speaking Driver/Guide, Norman, was an excellent reference. His knowledge was expansive and he patiently answered all of our questions, down to the silliest details. Norman was a useful reference for observing animals of all kinds. He knew right where to go, and he made us feel safe at all times. We saw so many babies…we renamed it “the Baby Safari”. We even saw a baby zebra being born and watched it take its first steps. It was thrilling!

When we left, we felt like Norman was part of our family. The itinerary is the perfect mix of busy and relaxation. The last day in Nairobi was spectacular. The museums were educational and the city had its flare.

Ken, we would go to with 2AFRIKA to AFRICA again at the drop of a hat - with one condition . . . that we could deal with YOU again!
