FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Please be advised of an Immigration update from the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

With immediate effect, the price of a Visitor’s Visa to enter the United Republic of Tanzania has been raised from USD50.00 to USD100.00 per person. The Visa is now known as a ‘Multiple Entry Visa’ and is the only form of Visa that will be issued to United States of America Passport holders. A ‘Multiple Entry Visa’ is valid for a stay of up to three-months.

At this time, the ‘‘Multiple Entry Visa’ will still be issued upon arrival into the United Republic of Tanzania. The ONLY form of payment for the Visa is US Dollar cash notes. No credit cards, travelers’ checks or local currency will be accepted as form of payment. Kindly update your records immediately.

This Immigration update applies only to Citizens of the United States of America. Former Immigration procedures remain unchanged for Citizens of all other Countries. As always, you can trust 2AFRIKA to keep you updated.
